Where to put USB Ports

I recently installed an ATOTO Android based head unit. Great little device. Super happy with it. But I can't figure out what to do with the USB cables plugged into the back of it. At the moment, they are just dangling out the hole where i removed the cigarette lighter.

I see a ton of cheap dual plugs on Amazon that will fit in that space. But they come with 1 meter long cables. Or longer. I already have 18 inches of cable hanging out. That's a lot of cable to tuck away and seems unnecessary.

Any recommendations from those of you that have done this? I just want it to look clean and neat. It would be nice not to have four feet of cable (times 2) buried behind everything. I'll some pics so you can see what i am up against.

cut/solder, or zip tie the excess under the dash..
how do you like the new double din? did you use the metra 2din adapter?? fitment issues?? I'm waiting on mine to come in and worried about it fitting into the double din adapter.
Thx

I am really hoping someone can recommend a quality plug that looks near-factory. Amazon is full of cheap ones that I don't think look all that great.

I did use the Metra adapter. It was a super tight fit and I am not sure I could get the radio back out of it if I needed to. I forced it in from the back. It made it about half way before it got stuck. I set it out in the hot sun for about half an hour, set it face down on a towel on my driveway, pressed with some weight behind it and it seated the rest of the way. I was waiting on it to crack but it did not. I have seen posts where some people trimmed the Metra adapter but I really didn't want to do that.

If you don't need both of them, something like this would be ideal. I didn't see any dual male to female adaptors that don't have at least 3 feet of cable on them. There is a dual female to female here with no cables, but then you would need 2 male to male adpaters like these, so it depends on how much you want to spend and how important both plugs are to you.

The head unit that I installed has three USB cables. Thumb drives full of music are connected to two of them and remain hidden. I used an extension to move the third USB port to the storage bin between the seats where it's mounted in place of the coin holder. This works well for me.
