PCCM+ Install on 2001 Boxster with DSP

That fixed it. Replaced the wire at pin 17 with the ground line, changed from CAN to AMP and did a Factory Reset. Paired my iPhone and now everything works perfectly.

I helped a friend change to PCCM in his 03 Targa. I was going to suggest the CAN to AMP change. That's what got us.

Hi, I'm struggling with this now with my 2001. The instructions are crap.

1. how the heck do you remove pin 17. I don't see how to open the housing. It appears to be a solid piece of plastic.

2. What is a Factory Reset? How to do it?
