Knocking, clunking sounds after tow

Hello all. Had my 986 towed home on flat bed tow truck. When the tow truck driver dropped my car off at my house he had a lot of trouble unhooking the wench from my car. He had it get wedged in between some suspension and to get it out literally required a hammer. Now whenever I drive the car over bumpy roads or certain rough roads it makes knocking kind of sounds. Not super aggressive sounds either. I first thought it could be my fuel pump since I had just replaced it and it sounded from front center of car but I am pretty confident after rechecked it is not. If I push down on the front of my car I hear the shocks releasing air from the passenger side where the hook was wedged and not from the driver side. Any help would be appreciated on pointing me to what it could be. I did not get to see what the driver actually did.

Damn! Sorry to hear this. My opinion is that you’re going to need to get it up in the air, at least the front and do an inspection. Do this ASAP so you can potentially have the tow company pay for their damage to you.

Driver didn't use your tow hook? Driver secured the chains to the underside of your car?

Hmmmmm.
