Did someone say brake dust?



That was after an HPDE on the weekend on Dynamic Friction pads. They dust. A lot.

Those pads are probably working well. I recall Jeremy Clarkson criticizing the “no brake dust Camp” in one of the Top Gear episodes.

I had no complaints. I used them, hard, all weekend at Mosport and they never faded or locked up on me, and they don't even look that worn.

Just want to add that ceramic materials are known to be poor conductors of heat. Semi Metallic pads (OEM) specifically have metallic fibers embedded in them to conduct heat away from the disc.
