Convertible top linkage clip

Had a problem the last time I went to close the top:

Quickly located the clip, but it's broken and no longer usable:

Went to order a couple replacements from Pelican (to have a spare...which I'll probably lose..), but all I can find are these:

So does anybody know: are these an updated version of the old clips I have in the car (one of which is now broken)? Are they interchangeable, ie will it work for me? (Found an exact replacement on ebay, but the bandits there want $14...for ONE CLIP.)

In the alternative, does anybody have a part number I could use? (Maybe I just did a bad job of describing the part).

Yeah, thanks, I eventually found them at Pelican. They sure don't make it easy. I searched for "convertible top linkage clips" I believe (how the hell am I supposed to know what they're called??
It's not like there's a part number on these little things), and it gave me those $4.50 parts shown in the 3rd pic I included in my original post...along with thousands of other hits. And, to further continue my rant, how the hell does that search give rise to responses like

* Torque converter
* Exhaust manifold to catalytic converter
* Power steering reservoir cap seal
* 996/986 Fuel Injector Kit with Bosch Fuel Injectors and Genuine Fuel Injector Clips
* Jack Stand with standard axle-style top, 6000 pound capacity!!!
In what universe does any of that make any sense??

Anyway, apparently they're called "Safety Lock Clips," but that's not a description I'd have been inclined to insert into a search box. And even when you, by serendipity, find them, it's still hard to know if it's the right part. There's no description (other than that cryptic name), no pic of where they're installed, what their function is, nothin'.

As somebody who's not spent my whole life wrenching on cars, I certainly have struggled when under the car or draped over the engine bay with the car in service position. There's been LOTS of challenges. But often what I find to be one of the more frustrating aspects of this whole process is nailing down exactly what I need when searching online.

Thanks again db.

When in doubt, take a clear pic of the part on a plain backdrop and then reverse search it on google images. If it doesn’t bring it up, at the very least it will bring up similar parts and you can usually find the phrasing they use.

I'll try to keep that in mind.
You realize, I hope, that I'm one of those folks who used a typewriter almost as long as as any possible iteration of word processing, right?
My kid'll talk me through it if need be.
Thanks again.
