Fabspeed Supercup (99 986)

Have a 99 986 and picked up a reasonably priced used Fabspeed Supercup exhaust a few months back. Problem discovered afterwards was the purchased exhaust was for a 00-04 and the lack of O2 bungs for the forward O2 sensors, which I'm having welded in. That leaves the back two O2 sensors which I'm certain will throw a CEL due to these being cat-less pipes. Used the search function and found a 4 year old post about re-flashing the car to ROW to alleviate the check of the rear O2 sensors. I saw that Porsche is not too willing to give out the required info to customers and am wondering if anyone has had success as of late or any ideas on a way forward.

Thanks in advance

Call a local dealer and be nice to them. If they say no then try another dealer. Porsche in Nashville helped me without issue.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with the bung addition, while tuners are no longer able to disable monitors due to the new EPA regulations, manufacturers are able to update approved software!

May I add, never underestimate the power of a bottle of whiskey for the service team, they can move mountains when given the right fuel!
