Headlight adjustment part replacement

Anyone replaced or disassembled the adjuster parts in the headlight housing? I have a broken adjustment ball socket on a good case and a good adjusters on a crappy case. Removed the screw but doesn't just come out. Any help would be appreciated. TIA
