FULL 986 Engine Removal Video

Just pulled my very first engine! Yay! And of course I made a detailed video for you guys ;)

Here is Day 1. It's going to be split into 3 videos, one for each day I worked on it. Enjoy!

I've watched a bunch of your videos. Thank you.

Doubt I would try to remove an engine, but will watch the videos for ****************s.

Haha I’m sure you will still learn something valuable anyway:)

I'm with Ray. Thanks for the excellent vid, but I doubt I'll be removing one of those. I'll stick ro pulling Subie engines. MUCH easier.

However, if I do pull mine I won't be putting one back in, I'd be trying an electric conversion.

Thanks again, I enjoy all your videos. Liked and have been subscribed for a while.

I doubt it would really fit with the nature of your channel, but I'd love to see someone actually document a 1.8t VW swap. There's been a few done, but nobody wants to produce a kit or instruction set or anything.

If my engine ever goes kaput, I think I'll be well set to handle the removal part now, though.

I’d definitely do something like that… if I were keeping the car. It’s starting to look like I might be able to fix this thing though…
