Another door lock thread

Hi everyone. I’ve got the evil 97 door locks and recently replaced the driver side with the VW part. Worked great! I had the car painted and all taken apart and put back together. When it came back the ignition switch wasn’t working correctly and I replaced it. I had issues turning the key, the headlights turning on and the doors locking. Once I replaced that everything seemed to work fine but the door lock issue seems to gave come back a day later. I checked all the connections. When I lock the door with the key I hear a click near the imobilizer but none of the electronic components follow suite I’m also not able to lock the door from the interior button. Any thoughts on what to do troubleshooting wise? I’m working on getting my durametric back so I can scan it and potentially test the locks manually.

Just a follow up for anyone looking. I pulled the fuse for central locking and it was popped. New 15 amp in and it’s working. Now to see if it’s reoccurring or popped from extra window resistance from me adjusting the window track alignment.
