Do you have other weird stuff going on? I thought I had addressed all the micro-switch issues with my car but when I locked it, it would still beep once - indicating it thought there was something still open/unlocked. I replaced the ignition switch (well, the entire assembly) and that fixed my issue. I'm not sure why the interior button doesn't work - did you check the fuses?
