SOUL Valved Bypass Exhaust Installed

Hello guys! Just got the SOUL Valved Muffler Bypass exhaust installed in my 1998 Boxster 986 and made a detailed install video. Haven't driven with it very much yet, but first impressions are GREAT!

Nice video! I still contemplate getting the Fister exhaust. I currently have a cheap exhaust from Top Speed and the drone really is not bad, practically non-existent. I have had it for 10 years now and honestly it still sounds great so a little bit of inertia to changing it. Keep up the great work

I contemplated this on my 986S before I sold it. The price is steep for what it is, which kind of held me back. The other thing is I cannot stand when they sell these valved exhausts, or in this case bypass, with a key fob. At the very least they should have an option to run it to a dash button as it should be. My Porsche key has my key and a Porsche Keychain from Suncoast, nothing else. My Audi key is just the key fob and nothing else. Less is more and a button on the dash is just way more elegant. Nothing against you Aaron or the install, just things that kept me from going that route. I was going to pull the trigger and figure out how to modify to get a dash button, but I ended up selling the car first. I have a 996 now, and they don't make a version for this car as fast as I know.

Yeah I get that. I just leave the fob in the cubby. A button would be nice and would (should) be very simple to wire up to their controller.

Only a couple hundred miles on it so far, but here's a quick follow up review video:
