Check brake light warning - When brake light works fine?!?
 

Hi there
Wondering if any of you have had this issue?

Not only do I get the warning but it keeps pinging to remind me to check the brake light. This would be fine, but the light works fine. i replaced the bulb, just in case and keep clearing the fault code, but the warning and pinging persist.


My ride is a 987 base model

Perhaps the pad sensors are indicating that the pads are near replacement?

Thanks, I'll look into that. But if it were pads I'd imagine it wouldn't say "brake light" ?

which bulb did you replace and with what? You have 3 brake lights

Agree. Need to have someone press the brake pedal while you observe the back of the car. could be left, right or center bulb.
