bosxter7, did you mean to spell your screen name that way?

To answer your question, yes, I experience that too. When it's raining and I go under a street lamp, the whole window lights up in an odd way. However, this happens in my Lexus too, so I think it's just an automotive glass thing.

If you recently got your boxster, there's a good chance you have new porsche owner's eyes... when I first got my car two years ago, every single part of the car and the driving experience was scrutinized repeatedly. Some of it was good and fun, lots of other things were just me being paranoid.

I hardly drive my car at night. And never in the rain! :D

Ever since I bought the winter car, I stopped driving the Box in the rain as well...

Too much of a pain in the rear to keep a black car clean ;)

Keeping black clean is the reason I usually take the Jetta when it's raining.

I agree

My winter car is also black, but I can always run it through the car wash if it gets dirty...

No automatic car washes for my beloved Box though :p

I have had it for 4 months. its a 97, lol I took it through the car wash at my work and a bit of water came in through the wondows. but I will not be doing any thing else to keep it clean in the snow. also what year did the boxster get side air bags and do they all have tc, cause I have spun it out many times in the rain and I dono what it will be like in the snow with worn summer tires.

I boght it to drive to high school. soooooooooo its all I can aford for a daily driver. and now the airbag light came on and the check engien light comes on but it said that its a problem bu thte problem was already fixed it was the thing that pumps air into the exhaust it was replaced but it still reads check engine light and i have a reader and its the same code when ever it comes on. also i herd the airbag might be the seat belt. sorry to all you english teachers out there plz dont mark this like a essay just looking for a little help. ;)

One word suggestion. I swear by it and I have night blindness, live in WA state (rain capital of the US) and drive my Boxster everywhere:

Rain-x
