Would A 987 Big Brake Kit Also Fit A 986?
 

I am intrigued by this kit:

Someone (not me) has already asked the seller if they might fit the 986-era cars - see bottom of page linked above.

But their reply does not inspire confidence, and it seems to imply that they don't really know.

So I thought I'd post the inquiry here - would they fit?

What are the rotors off of? I know a guy who used Cayenne Rotors on his GTI.

These are aftermarket oversized rotors, seemingly designed for a 987.

That kit was originally developed on a 986 S from boxa.net
