value of 2.5 engine and 5 speed transmission
 

Hi all

I am considering taking on an EV swap project.

I am thinking of buying a first gen Boxster 986 as the donor car.

I'd like to sell the engine and transmission but I don't have any idea what the value would be.

Can you tell me what I could expect to get for a 2.5 with say 90k on it with original IMS? How much would the transmission fetch?

It kind of depends where you live but generally I would base it off similar items on eBay. Less if you're selling it locally as you won't have fees or the hassle of shipping

Ballpark for ya I'd guess about a grand for the engine and 500 for the trans
