Instead of screwing around with an EVO intake I went this route and I'm happy. No problems after 2.5 yrs of use and probably gives up nothing to the EVO in terms of perfomance but is probably quieter. Intake sound is a tad louder than stock though. I primarily got it because it is a servicable filter unlike the stock paper. Just go easy on the oil and the filter is a nice upgrade over the stock unit.
