Anyone please do a carfax for me?

Friend mechanic of mine that works on european cars in that area went over and checked everything out.. said it seemed to be well.. which so far has proven true... it runs like a clock. but i dont get the mileage thing..

You played with your dials on the instrument cluster and switched from mph to kph.
