Good to know that it is working for you. So basically add a register in parallel to the 3rd brake light, right?

I was wondering about the alternative fix that may reduce or eliminate heat concern mentioned, but brake light is momentary so probably no big issue. One benefit with led is less watt/ energy that lightens alternator load, so on this point adding a register to waste heat/ energy is not ideal to me.
