One Beep/Tone

Sometimes my car emits one short beep/tone from the cluster area when I take off in first gear. I have found no rhyme or reason to it. Anyone know what it means?

2001 Boxster with 5sp manual trans.

It may be the speed 'limit' set in your cluster. Need to reset it. Easy to do with stalks.
