Nitto nt05

Looking around for new tires I came across the nitto nt05 - it's like a drag radial with water channels. Has anyone run these? The reviews I have read are either over the top praise for dry traction or complete garbage waste of money.

Best,
Ike

My brother in law had these on his 370Z. He said they had amazing grip but only lasted 2 summers so he went with different tires when he replaced them.

Thanks Paul. That's the general feeling I'm getting regarding semislicks. I found another manufacturer called Kenda that makes a semislick for half the price of the nt05. Drifters and dragsters love them apparently - not my intent but their reviews are really solid.
