Under Seat Connector purpose
 
I removed the passenger seat from a 2001 Boxster S and found an "unused" connector as in attached picture. I did not see any obvious place to plug it in under the seat. What is the purpose of this connector and where does it go?http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1623600071.jpg

I just completed a project that changed my seats from 2 way power seats to 8 way power seats - it was quite a project. Going by memory, that looks to me like it’s possibly a plug from heated seats.

That is the plug for the airbag deactivation bar. :cheers:

Correct - connect to this when using the Porsche made child seat option for the Boxster.
