Looking for some used plastic underneath pieces for my 2001 Boxster S and can’t seem to find any. Mine only have one bolt hole that’s torn but they connect to other pieces so I need to replace them
Just trying to not have to buy new.
Front left fender well apron 996 504 203 06
And the long piece that goes across the car in front of the rear wheels 986 504 119 00
And also the rear left cover in front of the wheel 986 504 571 01

Buy new ones, they are cheap. used ones shipping will be more. new you can get free shipping.

Each one is $200, so $400 for having a screw hole broken out is a little more than I wanted to spend and they still mount up fine, just not closing the gap on the other piece it connects to. So for a little cosmetic imperfection, I wish I could find them used.

I am in the same boat... those plastic shields are darn expensive.

Yes they are, if I can't find used now while the car is in the air, I may just put them back on and keep searching for used.
Side note, I like your electric cars. I used to have Focus electric, and now a Fusion Energi. Also had a 500L and it was a fun car. Waited in line years ago for 2hrs for the 35k Model 3 reservation that came out at 50k and never got it. Now waiting for my Cybertruck. Having solar helps a ton.

As for EVs - Boxster seems slow, at least up to 50 mph, which I got as a toy car.

Why not just patch them? I used some fiberglass to cover the broken area. Or glue a piece of plastic to reinforce and drill a new hole. This is not rocket science.

Thank you, this may work, the broken sections are not visible u less under the car so it may not matter. Still waiting on a hub carrier, rim, and a few tires, and repair of a rim. So I have some time to figure it out.

+ 1 Learned to use fiberglass by building remote controlled sailplanes (gliders), and used the same 'technique' (low tech btw..) to patch my car plastic parts and they last a long time :-)

I just did these on mine. Didn't do the wheel wells yet but the front, long center piece & engine cover were cheap. Just saying that finding a used one in perfect condition isn't going to be easy. These all break at one point. If only 1 hole is broken I dont think it's worth it but that is just my opinion. Used ones I have seen cheap but then shipping being almost the same price as new.

You could always cover the broken bolt hole with a large black plastic washer and still fasten the piece to another piece with a bolt. I've done this on the rear mud guards of my Cayman. Those pieces snap off easily.

Just sayin'.........

That may work for the rear apron, but the front has a bigger crack and covers two holes.

The Porsche dealer in Vegas is selling them pretty cheap, but shipping is $200. My dealer here said he'd price match but also had to add whatever shipping cost they had. I'm thinking Pelican may be the best bet.
If I could find used in Phoenix, I could take a short drive there over the weekend.
And the rear may be ok with the one hole gone but the front fender well has two holes. We'll see.

Shop other dealers, you can get all of those with little or no shipping. I got mine from the dealer in Silver Springs and didn't pay any shipping.

Pelican is $50 for shipping, strange that the dealer was $200.

I had the same problem finding used replacements. One recycler I spoke with told me that most yards use forklifts to move the cars around and these bottom panels get broken in the process.

I ended up buying new ones from Pelican, but included them with some other parts to qualify for free freight.

Of the 70-80 boxsters I've bought, only two had a good rear plastic cover. At this age almost everything plastic is getting brittle.
