Mysterious connector

1 Attachment(s)
Car is a 2003 ROW 986.

On the left side of the trunk is a fuse box (fuse box 2). In my car this connector has 2 cables.

Made a foto but found a better one on the web.

Does anybody know what that connector is for?

Thanks

Power for Bose sub? Rear parking sensors?

Hi! In my Bentley manual, on page 97-12, it's listed as Oxygen Sensor Test Harness. Attaching pic below:

Hope that helps!

Thanks a lot porschefan76!

Didn't know that there is an additional port for an oxygen sensor test harness.

No problem at all! I didn't know it existed either until you asked the question. I did a little internet searching but couldn't find any information on how to use the port.

When the port is connected to the Porsche diagnostic tool, you can graphically see the voltage curves and response for all of the O2 sensors in real time
