How much of the interior of an 03 Boxster (with standard leather option) is leather covered, door panels and instrument panel appears to be maybe vinyl or synthetic leather

There were different options both on what pieces were covered and the quality (thickness) of the leather, mostly for the seats.

Base was like you're describing. After that, it just depended on how much money you wanted to spend.
