you can't remove the immobilizer or bypass it. Just that simple. The DME looks at the immobilizer & the key and if everything doesn't match the car wont start.

What you could do is wire up an aftermarket alarm/keyless entry like the viper I mentioned and use it to lock/unlock & do trunk pop.

No experience with that system you linked to and honestly it isn't something I would use.

Basically they are similar, but the Viper/Avital units indeed seem to better fit this application.
