Hey, blue62. I finally got around to checking the fuel pump connections. I am not sure if I did it right, but I did a resistance test of the fuel pump connection points of ground and hot by connecting both probes to a single point at a time for a reading of 0.5 ohms for each. I did the same for the wiring to the pump (connector); testing the ground and hot wires for .0.5 ohms each. The battery was disconnected,

I am still troubleshooting the startup issue. I never got a reply back from you to my last post to you. I did a resistance test of the connection points of the fuel pump, which indicates there's low resistance. I may not have performed the voltage output test from the power source connector to the pump, but I did try again when the key is turned on, and I got a reading of 1.5V. What do you think?

It is a 12V pump and should receive 12V....
Do you hear the short "whirring" sound of the pump when you turn ignition on?
