Painting lug bolts

I used metal rescue on lug bolts. Need polishing too but got all rust off.

My 986 is ‘99 with upgraded wheels so they are silver. I’m thinking rustoleum silver paint. Just curious if there a more “correct” color - I know I’m being OCD 😉

My OEM ones are silver colored to match the turbo twist rims. They were trashed though, very rusty. When I got wheel spacers I switched to black lugs and I think they look way better.

The correct color is the color you want them to be. but typically they are silver or black.
