Coolant Tank Source

I'm just in the process of doing a bunch of work to my 2.5L to prepare for DE track season so I have the engine out of my '99 Boxster. I have the nagging feeling that I should replace my coolant tank. It's not currently leaking but I have no idea if it's ever been done and its definitely discoloured.

I looked into a new one from Porsche and it's $500(cdn) with taxes. That seems rather steep to me. I have one here from Rock Auto but the build quality is terrible, I'd rather leave the old one in.

Keeping in mind that I'm in Canada, Is there another good source for these or is OEM Porsche my only option?

Thanks

I went through this a while back and decided OEM. Check Pelican price with exchange and shipping vs Cdn stealership pricing. Pelican ships USPS so you avoid the ripoff courier customs brokerage fees at the border.

A good source for factory parts is Gaudin Porsche in Las Vegas. They do a lot online and good discounts

It looks like my local Porsche dealership is the cheapest source for an OEM tank. They sell it to me for $475 tax in(cdn) with my 10% PCA discount.
