My car is going in for paint this week. Can the removed BOXSTER trunk badge be reused? If so, what adhesive would be the best to keep it in place?

It could be tedious to apply, but I have used narrow 3M VHB double sided tape. Put it on the badge. Trim excess, then apply to the trunk.

A new one is $50.
Not sure I would spend the time trying to reuse the old one.
