2002 Turn signal Issue

I just bought a 2002 S and it has a strange issue with the turn signals.

They work fine, unless the fog lights are on... Then the LEFT side front doesn't flash at all and the rear flashes, but very slowly.

I also noticed that the fog light isn't as bright as the right one.

Thanks for any advice.

Light switches are a known issue. It is probably time to replace it. Follow this link for additional information; https://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Boxster_Tech/87-ELEC-Headlamp_Switch/87-ELEC-Headlamp_Switch.htm

Something similar happened to me when one of my headlight plugs had come lose from its holder. It wasnt making a good connection on a couple pins. I would pull the lights and inspect the connections.

Agree with the above. The bracket that holds the pins flush to mate with the head light might come lose. As you press in the headlight they do not mate correctly. It should be a yellow plastic piece. Check that

Thanks for the info! I'm going to remove the headlight assembly this weekend and use some contact cleaner on the plug-ins and check the base mount of the plug.

Cheers
