Logistics: Escrow Service and Transportation Lessons Learned?

1 Attachment(s)
Given bad weather and a host of other reasons, I am thinking “post good PPI” using an Escrow Service like escrow.XXX and arranging top or enclosed transportation from east coast to Colorado for a Boxster private purchase vs dealer.

I know, I know, better to see in person, fly out drive back, drive out trailer back, ok, those options are still on the table, but want to examine further an escrow/shipper solution.

Any lessons learned good or bad (shipper and/or escrow service) you can share is greatly appreciated!

NO HELICOPTERS! 😁

I know a good transporter that runs out of northern mississippi. Hes got a good enclosed trailer, will drive 24/7, and is very reasonably priced. Let me know if you want his info.

I personally have bought vehicles online site unseen and have not had any unforseen surprises. I think the inspection is important but I doubt you could use it to any good if they were to deliver a lemon. I always ask for videos of the vehicles under working condition as well as visual inspection under the car and under the hood while running. I think this is probably lost important - if the car is good they will have no problem with this. If the car is junk they will go silent on you (I've actually had this happen twice)
