It's not an easy problem when it comes to search words, but here's an alternative to your YT video.

Thats awesome!! Thanks for the input. |
I've go this problem with a new top I put on. Its obviously an aftermarket one (came with the car when I purchased it) and doesn't have the elastic straps to pull it in. I want to try and rig something up so if anyone call tell me about where the "fabric tabs" should be on the top I would appreciate it.

I had the same problem when I was messing around with the top. For me, it wasn't the elastic, but some plastic tab that was flopping back and forth because I forgot to tuck it behind a metal spring. I found the answer online, but totally forgot where it was lol.
Anyway, it's this metal strip with the two bolts. Make sure it's actually doing its job. https://i.imgur.com/qU4IxpS.jpg |
Funny, I just uploaded this last week as part of a try-out for my channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LbqdMFidh8
