Check Engine light
 
My check engine light came on. Scanner says that it is the catalytic converter bank 2. Is there anything I can do short of replacing the catalytic converter?
My Boxster is a 2001 2.7 L.

it says it's the Cat? that's relatively uncommon. What's the code? More frequently it;'s the O2 sensors on either side of the CAT.
