Windscreen Lexan Replacement

Would anyone mind sharing the precise thickness of the Lexan windscreen? I'm considering replacing my clear with tinted Lexan... buying a 12x24 inch sheet... tracing the Lexan... then having a glass shop cut on the trace.

The Lexan will come out... and that fit into the channel isn't very forgiving... so imperative is the exact thickness replacement Lexan.

Thank you!

I have this I can measure for you. Trying to find my darn calipers now. Someone must have "borrowed" them. Haha. I can scan it 1:1 at work on monday too, might even be able to cad up a 3d model for your cnc/glass guy if your not in a huge rush. It wouldn't take long to draw once I have the scan.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...79b8335ed8.jpg

Why not just spend $149 and buy one off Ebay?....just checked and there are some that say are "excellent" condition....seems the way to go. By the time you buy the material, cut it and install it you'd be better off just buying one.

Check this out....

The one I have is in excellent condition. I'm just tired if the clear vynil rear window that can't be tinted... and then the Lexan which shops highly recommend not tinting.

Traced and cut some stick on tint... but my OCD said no.

I have no tools for applying extra cut lexan... scissors. Jig saw.

GL... thank you for the offer... I Know no guys that could fabricate that for me. How much would you charge for that nicely tinted piece? A piece that mself I could install?

Thank you. Have a good Sunday morning.
