wax/polish removal from clear bra edge
 

Ok...i admit i was lazy when applying the wax ......but i covered the edges of my clear bra and now the edges stand out.....big time!

Anyone have a good idea on removing this.... i do not want to fray the edge, but just rubbing along the edge doesn't seen to get it.....

Just a thought, but have you tried a hair dryer to heat it up along the edge and then wipe away from the seam?

detailcity.com sell something called wax buster which come in one of those shoe polish type applicators with the foam on the tip. carefull around there, you don't want to lift the edging. Best to use painters tape on those edges.

Rondog, I haven't tried this myself (I barely have any edges on my clear bra) but I remember reading somewhere that a Q-tip dipped in some solution may work. I don't remember the solution but you could try anything that removes wax. High concentration car wash solution, perhaps? Would be curios to learn what's best, myself.

Rondog, here is how you do it. This is the same issue we experience with the edges on the stone guards near the rear wheels. I "lost" my first Concours (took second place) because the Judge scored me down for having dirty edges on the stone guards.

Buy some WURTH citrus degreaser (www.wurthusa.com). Dip a Q-Tip in the solution (100%). Trace the edge with the wet Q-Tip, and wipe the edge with a clean, white, 100% terry cloth towel. You may need to repeat these steps 2-3 times to loosen and remove all of the wax.

I have done this now about 3 times with the edges on my stone guards, and everything looks great!
