Pic Finally

Finally took some pics of my Boxster today. Here is one of the better ones.

Every time I wash this car I fall in love with it again :)

You should give it a title and frame it. Call it something like "composition of competion" or "repose with cloud" or some other artsy such name.

I love those wheels...!!

I was thinking of getting a set for a 986 but I think they'd look horribly out of place.

Great photo!

Must be pretty boring living in Pleasantville though.....

kt1 10-23-2006 02:12 PM

Looks very artistic :)

ukchris 10-23-2006 02:31 PM

Very nice! How about the same pic with the car left in color, I bet the tail lights would really set it off.

drburton 10-24-2006 05:19 PM

Thanks for the comments on the pic. For those how requested it, here is the color version of the same picture.

bmussatti 10-24-2006 05:21 PM

Doc Burton, I like the Metropol Blue Top!! What color is your leather?

drburton 10-24-2006 05:26 PM

Thanks. The interior leather is also blue. Here is a pic with the top down.

bmussatti 10-24-2006 05:28 PM

I see clear side markers in your future!! :)

bmussatti 10-24-2006 05:31 PM

Doc, you know what would look really cool...your black & white photo with the tail lights colorized in red!

Grizzly 10-24-2006 05:43 PM

Please stop posting pictures of 987s. I'm going to end up doing something that will really piss off my financial advisors.

Ok - I am waiting on a customer to make a network change and it is taking forever, so I am looking for something to keep me occupied. :D

that is the best pic doc with the top down.....I agree with the clear side markers....they need to be in your future :)

grizzly....you can do it!!!! I'm in the same boat, every day I think about dumping my 05 on a new S......the 300(almost) horses is just tempting!

drburton 10-25-2006 07:31 AM

So my Boxster is going in to get the 'hibernation' work done in a couple of weeks and I inquired with the dealer about the clear side markers. So happens, they have them in stock and will install them while the car is there. $19 per side. Works for me. :)

On another note, I am not actually a doctor, my initials are 'dr' , hence the username. Although my wife is a doctor, so there is a Dr. Burton.
