Benitom 1998 Boxster Owner Join Date: Mar 2015 Location: Alviso, CA Posts: 231	I have an AFE dry filter in my 98 Boxster. I bought it more for convenience than performance or increased intake noise. To be honest I don't really notice an increase in intake noise. Getting performance increase from an air filter is a myth in my humble opinion. Also when you clean it be sure it's dry. If it's at all damp your motor will let you know.
