Muffler Clamp Replacement

1 Attachment(s)
While working on my shift linkage I noticed both clamps on each side of my muffler were rusted through.

Any ideas on better replacement then the OEMs?

The clamps you're looking for is Part # 99611120900. It should come with the clamp and the bolt together. The factory ones are fine. Our cars are getting up there in age and by the amount of rust I see on it looks like it's strong for holding up this long.

Stainless steel exhaust clamps come in many sizes and styles.
Most auto parts stores carry them.
If you can't find what your looking for check out Jeg's or Summit racing.

There are no other sizes of clamp for that size pipe. So basically any clamp you can get will be the same width. I looked all over for a wider clamp. I tried a few different ones and the factory ones work the best.

Do you know the pipe size???? I am guessing 1.75 inch
Do a google search for stainless steel exhaust clamps for the pipe size.

Thanks for the suggestions. Found and bought some. I think there is so much rust on them that the clamp adds nothing at this point. No leaks or rattles now anyway.
