Power Top
 

The top on my 99 Boxster will not go back up - no motor sounds, nothing. Any ideas without taking it to the dealer. Is there anyway to put the top up manually?

Is your handbrake light on?

If the microswitch is broken this will stop the mechanism. Its also worth putting your handbrake on and off a few times to see if this clears it.

I think that there are manual roof operating proceedures in the owners manual but thinking about it, these may just be to lower the roof manually.
