Think I have a differential seal leak??

99 boxster base tiptronic. Noticed something had been leaking for awhile this winter when I changed the tranny fluid. Glad I checked the differential oil as it appeared very low and if I would have left it would have been bad one day! Topped off gear oil and have driven for a month or two. Drove it yesterday and it got cold last night, and there was a puddle of oil on the garage floor when i backed it out to wash it this morning. 99% positive it is the gear oil by looks and smell. Appears to be a slow leak from where the cv axle goes into the tranny. But does not look like was enough to leave a puddle of 2-3 ounces??

Anywhere other than the cv shaft seal that oil can leak from? And debating on how easy of a diy this would be or if I should take it to a shop depending on cost???
