Will 996 BBS Lightweight Wheels fit on 986?
Will BBS Lightweight wheels (5 x 130) from a 996 fit a 2002 Boxster?
Joe |
As long as the offset and width are correct, it should. What are those figures?

Thanks to Deserion and Byprodriver for your feedback.
I received the Size info from the seller of the wheels I’m looking at. The wheel sizes are 8Jx18H2 - ET57 and 10Jx18H2 - ET58. I currently have the original 17” Boxster wheels installed. Any additional thoughts on fitment and wheel spacer sizes would be appreciated. Joe |
This can be pretty useful.. https://www.willtheyfit.com/

Porche approved ETs for your 986 depending on wheel size |
You will need spacers all around. This can add a significant amount to the price of your wheels.

Thanks to all for your feedback and guidance. Adding spacers certainly changes the total price when also considering new tires and mounting.

I switched to the 19" 987 Cayman lobster claws so I'm offloading my lightweights. PM me if you're interested. (They're also in the classified section.) |
