Same with me - I just purchased 2 sets (4 total) of 6 ton (same model # as yours) and 2 additional sets of 3 ton last month (with a newer model number).

Talking w/ my shop mechanic this morning making sure we didn't have any of the HF jack stands in the shop, he said everything we have comes from O'Reilly's. He stated they're a much better stand and he'd never have a HF jack stand around.

I'm thinking as much as I hate to toss a couple hundred dollars worth of new jack stands, I'd be wiser to go with something else.

I have a few restoration projects I want to finish before I die; not die while working on them.
