Joe Toth’s new speaker mount

Have you seen this? I think it’s a great idea. I’m a little disappointed in myself that I didn’t think of it first...

You see it currently at the top of his facebook site:

Looks cool. But is that one speaker per headrest? If yes, doesn't seem like a great idea since you'd only get the left channel stereo behind the driver's head.

I put 6 speakers in the rear deck storage on my 99.

I saw that, I just don’t think it would sound good. It would literally be blasting on your head and the wind noise. Idk. Just doesn’t look that clean to me

I had a Miata with headrest speakers, and although they were really small, they were effective. I'm not sure what just one speaker would sound like, your choice would be either one channel, or mono.

It looks as if there is room for two small speakers, that would probably be the way to go.

Recaro used to make seats with speakers in them. They didn’t look terrible. I believe they were original equipment in some BMW.

My stock stereo system seems to provide plenty of volume.
