Porsche Bose Amplifiler

Anyone have any issues with the Porsche Bose Amplifier in their car. When I turn the radio on, their is this loud static sound from I thought the rear. I pulled the two speakers from the rear and the noise now comes before I even turn the radio on, but from the front speakers.

Called audio shop and he said the Bose amp has lots of problems, just did a boxster with the same issue. He said drop off and he will send out to get fixed.

Anyone experience this?

I have a used Bose amp in perfect condition if you're interested. Just came out of my '04 Boxster S. I upgraded my audio system to a double din head unit and new amp.

Pioneer 2550
Soundstream 5 ch Amp
Satellite tuner

Had an audio guy do it. He works almost exclusively on Porsche's.

I'll be replacing the dash speakers, maybe the door speakers too, in the Spring. I'll do that myself.
