Recommend seat cover brands

I have a friend of mine with a Boxster with standard seats ( not sport ) . He is wanting some seat covers to spruce things up. Any recommendations on brands or styles you have used with good results ? Thanks

Yes looking for something as well mainly for working on it. What do standard vs sport look like?

Actually re-cover the seats instead of putting some poorly fit slip cover over them. Lseat.com has good products and someone posted a few years back when they did theirs. Looked good.

Check with the guys at Classic9. They do terrific work and are highly regarded in the Porsche world.

They're getting the Sport Seats from my 996 this summer and down the road I'm bringing them my 928 for a complete interior renew.

They have seat kits, or you can send them the entire seat.

Are the LSeats a DIY project that can be done without having upholstery skills?

If on a budget, I have used Iggee seat covers in other vehicles and they fit pretty darn well.

Joseph here seems to have left a decently detailed review. Seems like a DIY project that you could do yourself. Doesn't seem like a walk in the park though.

About 15 years ago I re-upholstered a set of bucket seats for a 944S I owned at the time . It was the first time I had ever tried to recover anything . Took my time and they came out great . I pre-heated the covers in the sun which made them more pliable . I didn't use hog rings instead I used heavy duty zip ties . No issues at all . So if you are at least an average DIYer you should be able to do this .

Just looked at Lseat.com site and basic cost of 97-04 seat cover is $349.
