Todays Mod

Feel free to speak your mind about this if you dont like it. My feelings wont get hurt. I installed them so they really cant be seen during the day and they are invisible when the lights are on. They will really be noticable at night and dusk and they are on 24/7.

I will get a night shot if your interested.

well I guess it will look something like this.

Interesting look, think I'd have to see it in person to get the "full effect".

In California, they'd be a "fix-it" ticket waiting to happen, but perhaps the local constabulary in your area have better things to do. Sadly, ours do not.

Id say blue or purple would look good on your car and thanks for the kind words.
Like I said though during the day they are invisible and they dissappear when you turn lights on. I will get a pic to show you.

Kind of has the "Village of the Damned" thing going for it... Also reminds me of some of the girls I've dated...

Sorry, got off topic... It's not for me, but a very interesting idea.

Ohio,

Next, you must "mod" your rear/brake lights from red to clear and have fun looking at people while they decide whether your Box is coming or going.

ya i have those in blue also. i also changed the night lights to night hawks
clear white. touch of blue only in complete darkness.

but now here's my issue. my lense is now turning yellow/ burnt....not cool. i
have had the night hawks in for about 2 years now, and this month i see that it
is turning yellow. i have seen this in many other porsche cars, with these head light units. really crappy looking. i've seen some really bad burnt lenses.....

the red blubs look very cool, n by the way those red lights won't cause the yellow/burning its the night lights that i've changed.

anyone else having issues with the lense turning yellow/burnt? and are you using after market blubs or original?

These are leds and dont even put off any heat to speak of. There is no way they would ever discolor the lens no matter what color you use.

So in TX if your car is parked and the headlights illuminate red its illegal? Do they give out tickets to people that accidentially leave thier lights on too?

Of course they do not give you a ticket for that, but if you forget to teather your car to the hitching post they will!!
