All natural brown leater 2003 Boxster S

I have a 2003 Boxster S Lapis Blue with all natural brown leather interior. Is there a way to search how many of these with same color combo exist?

Thanks,
Pete

Strange. Was sure the natural brown was an Anniversary TM.

I'm sure both the Mfg and Marketing Dept at Greater Porsche AG (HQ) have all of this data handy. Asked politely and with a valid reason to do so and I'm pretty sure they could provide those figures to you. Although I'd give a call to your local dealership's Sales Admiral (or General) and see if he/she can access this data for you first.

Thanks for the advice, not sure about anniversary theory, from what I researched it looks like it was a special order interior. I'll update if I uncover any interesting info.

Could be a special order. To my (limited) knowledge the brown interior was reserved to the 2004's Special Edition, also called 50th Anniversary or 550 Spyder. Could be really wrong here and customers could made it an option too, dunno.

50th Anniversary:

ps. after re-reading your post and running google image on boxster "natural brown" interior I'm getting all kind of colors ranging from lighter to darker beige. So again, very wrong I could be here lol

I think they called the brown in the Anniversary Editions is Cocoa brown. Natural brown is closer to baseball glove color. Definitely not 100% sure on that though.

Here’s a pic of the cocoa brown interior of my 2004 550 Anniversary Edition. The PET lists the color code for the cocoa glove box cover as 9V6. Leather suppliers know it as POR972. AFAIK, the only 986 with the cocoa interior is the 550.

The PET also shows a ‘brown/natural’ glove box cover as code T12. That might be the code you’re looking for.

Classic9 Leather lists a ‘natural brown’ interior leather as code POR951. You can google POR951 and come up with color samples.

There should be an interior color code on your options sticker which is on the inside of the frunk lid.

Natural Brown leather is caramel colored leather , as opposed to the darker cocoa brown.

I’ve got the natural brown leather on my 2001S and according to the original invoice it was a $3950 option. Can’t see many people taking Porsche up on that one!
