Options sticker

My question is I am looking at a 2008 rs60 and am wondering if there is suppose to be an options sticke on the trunk underside like my 2001 boxster had. I asked the current owner and he said he can’t find one. If it doesn’t have one I am worried it might of been in an accident.im hoping it didn’t come with one.thanks again jimbo

https://www.stuttcars.com/technical/option-codes/

"The codes are usually printed on stickers: one of these is added to the service book, but the second one changes location, depending on the specific model (under the bonnet, in the trunk or not available at all)."

Check the service book.

Absence of an options sticker on a 987 Boxster is not indicative of an accident. A Carfax report should indicate that.

My understanding is that after the 986 series (2004), the option sticker was placed on the first page of the service manual. Check there first. Both my 987s have it there.

Just sayin'............

Run the VIN thru vinanalytics.com to get the options. The 3rd digit is a zero, not the letter O.
