Hardtop Trim Question

The window for a 986 hardtop is available only with the gasket and "chrome" strip (S version) included. PET terms it "ready for installation."

Chrome strip on mine is sun damaged, but glass is fine so hesitant to purchase complete new unit.

Anyone know of an alternate "chrome strip" to replace this one?

An interesting question...when restoring an old 911 I found a matching Volvo trim piece which was NLA from Porsche so you might expect that alternatives are available.

A quick search: https://www.eeuroparts.com/Parts/195275/Windshield-Trim-99654154101/

It would be nice to see a profile view and specs.
