2002 s 3.2 engine

Does anybody know whether I can use 3.2 engine From 2002 can be used in 2003 or 2004 ?

No, different variocam/engine management

I'm guessing by your question that you need a 03/04 3.2. You'll have better luck finding a 02-05 3.6 for about the same price. More power is always a good thing

Pelican has a great article about engine swap compatibility here:

But I agree with Woody; slap a 3.6 in there!

Then it won't bolt right in without drilling & tapping new thread holes.

Thanks guys
I have 2002 s with 3.2.
I had accident.

I am looking into taking the engine from the 2002 and find a roller to put that engine.

They changed the engine configuration in 2003. The newer 3 chain engine uses motronics 7.8.

NewArt is correct. If you want an easy plug&play option for a roller, you'll want a 2000-2002.

That's only if you're using a boxster intake. Super easy if you want to use the 986 intake but you're missing out on some hp if you skip on the 996 intake

Yep, life will be much easier using a 2000-02

I guess I have start looking harder for 2000-2002

Here’s a car for your engine. Tucson is a bit of a haul though.
